ADDERLink® XD614 Quad Head DisplayPort KVM Extender over CatX/Fiber

A high-resolution quad-head KVM extender. High definition video, USB2.0 and audio are transmitted on a single CATx or fiber cable. 

High-resolution video, real-time control The system supports up to four heads at 1920x1200 resolution at 60Hz using 8 bits per color and 4:4:4 chroma sampling, transmitted via a single cable.

• Compatible with computers supporting DisplayPort® 1.2

• An integral MST (Multi-Stream Transport) hub is included for users requiring dualhead output.

• Four heads are supported by either daisy chaining MST compliant monitors, or using standard monitors connected to an external MST hub.

• A local pass-through port at the transmitter (TX) outputs the first video head within the MST signal. Emulated USB2.0

Enables connection of any full and low speed USB HID from mouse and keyboards through to graphics tablets and jog shuttles.

 

EDID management

The system has intelligent EDID management to allow the true characteristics of the monitor to be passed back to the computer.

 

Plug and play

The ADDERLink XD614 extender is delivered in a zero config. state so it works, without the need for drivers or software, as soon as it is connected.

 

Audio

Video: Encapsulates two channels of 24-bit, 192kHz sampled “Pulse-code modulation” (PCM) audio with each video signal.

 

USB: Two channels of 24-bit, 96kHz sampled PCM audio.

Analog: Two channels of 24-bit, 96kHz audio for Line in/out, microphone and headphone/speakers.

 

Serial communications

RS232 can be passed between the units to a maximum baud rate 115K2 with RTS/CTS flow control.
